Dr Rajendra Gode, after whom the hospital is named, was a renowned doctor and an inspiration to many. Along with being the ex Minister of Home and Industry, he was passionate about education and healthcare. He strongly believed that healthcare should be fortified in rural and suburban areas. This is mirrored by DRG Multispecialty and General Hospital's mission and vision.
